Update added tar files

I updated from v2.6 today. Looks fine, but it left a whole lot of compressed files added to my root folder (not the folder that actually contains the blog). They have file names beginning ssbk_uAAu_, which is followed by a long number, and they are quite large.

Can I just delete them? Thank you.
