    I have received notification on an update for Theme Forest -Nice Hotel, how do I update it without causing any damage to current installation. I am new to this so please explain in plain English. I have dowloded the zip file now what?
    Is there anything spl. I need to keep in mind when updating theme files?

  • You really should ask them, but in general, backup your site first. And if you have modified any theme files, those changes will be overwritten, so hopefully that’s not the case.

    I believe they have not been modified.

    Then you should be fine – but the theme developers would be the ones to double-check with – as we don’t have any info about commercial themes.
