When upgrading the plugin to version 5.12.4 we receive the following error:

require_once(/www/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/php-min-version.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/the-events-calendar.php on line 34

It appears that the php-min-version.php file is no longer present but still required.

    Hi @tonydjukic ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

First, I’d recommend you make sure it’s not a theme or plugin conflict by going through the steps in our Testing for Conflicts Guide:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/

If the issue still exists, please delete The Events Calendar folder from your server – either via FTP or from the wp-admin/plugins – and then install the latest version from the www.remarpro.com.

Let us know how it goes!

    Best regards,
    Marta

@iammarta a back-up had been taken of the site shortly after I ran the update, so I downloaded the back-up and checked /src/functions/php-min-version.php to see if the file was present. It was not.

I then downloaded a fresh copy of The Events Calendar plugin directly from www.remarpro.com and checked /src/functions/php-min-version.php again, the file is there.

So my best guess is that at some point, during the update, something failed. But that could have been anything. The Server, other plugins, the theme… …very difficult to diagnose why an update failed.

I’ve gone through the update process again and this time, everything works.

    Thank you.
