update 4,9,2 not sending messages

    I thought this might be a problem with the Captcha so I took it off but its the same problem – messages are not being sent with this new version of CF7.

    Some help needed with this.

    Anything in your browser console?

    Anything in error_log or wp-admin/error_log?

    Have you cleared all caches?

    same here on diff websites

    => looks like the last version of the plugin use REST API to send message (why?!);

    console log error : Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Unauthorized)
    On the page: wp-json/contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/69/feedback
    {“code”:”rest_not_logged_in”,”message”:”You are not currently logged in.”,”data”:{“status”:401}}

    => I restrict REST API for non logged user from a security and privacy point of view. This mean that i cant use this plugin anymore ? sad.

    ** update ** change permalink to “plain” (instead of day/name) fix the rest api pb for now.
