Update 4.0.1 doesn’t work

We both had the same problem.
I partially solved it.

Hi,

the option “Enable Stripe Checkout” was disabled in my shop from the very beginning.
I only use the inline version (card number fields under “Payment by Stripe”).

It does NOT work. I get an error, that the payment cannot be processed.
I have to use the former version (3.2.3). This works fine.

I don’t know how to fix this. Everything worked perfectly fine before the 4.0.0 update.
I don’t want to use 3.2.3 for ever. Some day i have to update.
Any ideas?

At the moment version 3.2.3 of the stripe plugin is active.
So the payment process will work.
With 4.0.1 it will not work.
