Update 4.0.1 causing 504 Timeout errors

    I had to roll back to prior version 4.0 today for your plug-in because 2 minutes after the update to 4.0.1 the entire site fpua.com slowed to a crawl and had 504 time out issues. The plugin was creating a significant amount of internal requests on the server. When rolled back to version 4.0 it was no longer doing this.
    Please check your plugin. There is no malware and no other plugins/apps doing internal requests.

    I am sorry I was not able to gain more information before the rollback as we are an electric company so I could not investigate further or find error messages for you. My priority was to restore the site function. Thank you for your help. Please advise what/when fixes can be expected. Thank you kindly for your time to develop this program.

    It is difficult to say why you are experiencing this issue at your end. I am using version 4.0.1 on my staging but I am not experiencing such an issue at the moment.

    It would be very helpful if you can share the issue at here as well: https://responsive.menu/contact/ and setup a staging website for us so that we can further investigate the issue.
