Update 3.1.0.1 Failed

This issue is usually caused by incorrect file permissions on your server (rather than being a problem with the plugin itself). Basically, WordPress isn’t able to properly access its own plugins folder, and as a result can’t put the updated Stock Ticker files in there.

I recommend to you contact server support and request fixing file permissions – make sure that the “wp-content/” and “wp-content/plugins/” directories are set to the recommended permissions.

That was the exact issue, thank you for your response. One more question I was trying to add the NASDAQ exchange to the ticker, and I kept getting a bad API response. Do you know what the symbol for the NASDAQ exchange would be? I have the others and they are working fine…

For NASDAQ Composite use symbol NASDAQ:^IXIC
For NASDAQ-100 Index use NASDAQ:^NDX
For Dow Industrial Stocks use symbol NASDAQ:^DJIA
For S&P 500 use symbol NASDAQ:^SPX

etc.

Looks like the symbol ^IXIC for the Nasdaq gets a bad API call, is it possible the symbol was changed?
