Update 1.7.3 still not working with Polylang

    Hi,
    I just updated to 1.7.3 and the polylang problem still exists. Have also the line 89 problem. Plus all my post category links don’t work anymore. I still have version 1.7.1. so installed that again and everything seems to work fine again.

    Maybe note worthy:
    1. After I deactivated SEO 1.7.3 and installed 1.7.1 the php error messages were gone and I had my site back, but the cat links still didn’t work. I had to deactivate/activate the polylang plugin to get them working.
    2. I never had SEO 1.7.2 installed.
    3. Downloaded SEO 1.7.3 from https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/ -> couldn’t unzip: archive corrupt.

    Update. Reinstalled version 1.7.1 worked for 1 click (probably not refreshed the page before), now cat links dont work anymore.

    I have to add that I installed SEO 171 for the first time only a few days ago and probably never checked the cat links. Am still on WAMP.

    it is in this file of Polylang, just comment the lines and wait for solution or disable Yoast SEO for a while.

    Thanks, jorge-vitrubio. I did as you recommended and commented out lines 85-90 in polylang’s plugin-combat.php. Blog works, but not category links. Checked WP SEO > premalink and unhooked the “Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL”. Now it works.
    Uncommented line 85-90: category links still work.
    May this yet be another problem?
