Update 1.4 to 1.41

For some reason, the plugin shows in the plugin updates, but when clicked to update…it goes through the process and says update completed?
Go back to updates, it still shows not updated and by version# it still is not updated.
Cleared cache, still no success….anyone else having similar problem?
