    Update 1.6.5.25 of Simply Schedule Appointments includes:

    • Updates and Improvements to the Revision feature in the Developer settings
    • Fix for Deprecated Expressions in PHP 8

    I have updated to the latest version, but with WP_DEBUG_LOG enabled, I see the following message:

    PHP Deprecated: The behavior of unparenthesized expressions containing both ‘.’ and ‘+’/’-‘ will change in PHP 8: ‘+’/’-‘ will take a higher precedence in \wp-content\plugins\simply-schedule-appointments\includes\class-availability-cache.php on line 319

    Googling this is also showing a few results on live websites (oops)!

    Is it safe to run the Simply Schedule Appointments plugin with PHP8?

    When are you planning to refactor the deprecated code?

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We went ahead and made a new update to address the last of those deprecated errors you’re seeing.

    Could you update to v1.6.5.26 to see if that helps? If you still see more deprecated messages, please contact our support team, [email protected]

    It should be safe to run the Simply Schedule Appointments plugin with those deprecated messages. They are related to syntax changes/updates between the different PHP editions.

    Hi Natalie

    I have updated to ?v1.6.5.26 and the deprecated notice is fixed – thank you!

    I have since upgraded to PHP8, and I’m getting a list of new deprecation messages but I will reach out to your support email about this.
