Upcoming events problem calling from google calendar

  • Hello

    Have been fixing with a page I taken over.

    It has goggle calendar it’s calling av showing as a list. Worked Until I did an upgrade of the site a while back

    The google calendar works. But the upcoming events is to be displayed as an list on the front page. And I need to change the calendar ID, from the previous.

    But I cannot find where this is to be stated. Now the previous ID is displayed, but I cannot find the right plave in the wp to change it

    It appears you were using a plugin that provides the shortcode “calendar”, as I see [calendar id=”531″ type=”list” max=”3″] on your home page. Is that plugin still installed but not active?

    No most plugins dissaperad in some migration. But I tried install Simple Calendar, but then I get an empty area

    So you need to find that plugin. Do you have any backups you can look at?

    ok, unfortunately that’ll be difficult to find

    however I created a new calendar list with Simple Calender, and that gives me a new short code. But I cannot understand where I will enter this to get it in the same place on the home page.

    hmm, done it but still confused where this is located. Since it’s the home page I don’t have specific page under “pages”. As it’s generated from the code in “home.php”

    But when I activate SImple Calenderar the text [calendar id=”531″ type=”list” max=”3″] disapperas and it only shows white space.

    But there are events that should be visible, according to the settings in Simple Calendare

    I tried another plugin that gives me another short code, which is working when I try it on a page, but don’t know where to place it to get in on home.php in the right box. Is it possible to add it in the home.php at the proper place?

    Unless you know *exactly* what you’re doing, you should not be editing .php files.
