• Hi there,

    Looks like a great plugin!

This is not really a support request but more of an open question to the developer and the community: What are the benefits and potential drawbacks of this plugin over more conventional view counters?

I use google analytics extensively so using their data on the front-end as well would be great.
The thing is, I want to to use the view numbers extensively to show a custom feed of post. Let’s say for example to show products (WooCommerce) in category X with the most views in the last 24h.

Will this plugin slow down the page more than other view counts would?
Can I filter by time period realistically? Is it even possible to use the google analytics view number as input for my queries?

Basically I would love to have the accuracy (and historical data) of google analytics, but I’m afraid that the data from the API may be harder to work with for some reason.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers,
    buynai
