I had to upgrade from MYSQL4 to MYSQL5 to install WP3.0.1. I did so by exporting the data from MYSQL4 and importing it to MYSQL5. Everything looked fine. That is until I tried clicking the “read more” links and my articles never came up and I noticed my pictures no longer came up. I tried creating a new post and using the “more” feature….no luck. Is there a safe way to restore these links or am I up a creek and looking at a total loss and reinstall? Thanks in advance.

Try re-saving your permalink structure at Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel. If WordPress cannot automatically edit the .htaccess file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.

That did the trick…THANKS! I had to reset it to its default format and everything came up including the lost graphics. You’re a life saver!
