Unyson Plugin Causing Multiple Functionality Errors – Appears To Be Abandoned

  • The Unyson plugin appears to be abandoned. As of this review it has been eight months since it was last updated (current version – 2.7.24).

    Themes that are dependent upon the use of the Unyson plugin are now experiencing functionality errors, such as the inability to save custom post types.

    The Unyson plugin is also throwing number of errors in the health checker section of the dashboard such as the following,

    • A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call
    • The REST API encountered an unexpected result

    Unless this plugin gets updated soon to align with current coding standards, I would very strongly advise against its use.
