Unwanted webpage generated

  • Hello,

    Twenty Seventeen generates a web page, that can be found via google and I don’t want it:
    https://aplus-composites.de/?lang=en

    Normally I use only static pages like:
    https://aplus-composites.de

    In the customization menu, I managed to get rid of most of the information of this page, but I can’t remove it entirely. In the homepage-settings I selected “static pages” and one of the static pages as “Homepage”. I left the “blogpost” empty (-select-), because when I select my “News”-page, it replaces my static, with Elementor created page with this generated page.

    Jakob,

    I had a quick look at the links you gave, and spotted that you have two languages on the site (german and english). Could the plugin which helps you generate the english pages be providing that query to go to the english page? Also when that alternate page is served up, the header and footer is missing. I am not sure what is happening there. I am sorry I do not have a solution but I hope this starts you on your way to a solution.

    Your site does not have the same problem as far as I could see. You will need to create and submit a more accurate query in its own topic.
