    How do I get rid of the first sentence, which is #3 is wide receiver Zack Jones of Phoebus High.?

    Going in to my Word Press account, the phrase does NOT appear
    where I type in my article info. There, it just reads:

    [In the photo at left, is Class of 2012 senior,#4, Ken Ekanem of Centreville High, which played against Oscar Smith. It’s interesting that he hasn’t announced what college he will be attending.] In another photo here is a junior, #74 Mark Wilson, a tackle at Phoebus. […]

  • Have you checked if you have a slider where you edit that text or a featured slider some sort

    I don’t understand how using a slider could make a line of text
    disappear, which is what I would like for it to do.

    What ever is you only have fixed space to fit your text in slider and the rest will not show

    So what should I do now? Go inside WordPress and take the article out so that the box is empty, and then paste it all back in?
