Unwanted space at top of column

OK, I’m stumped. In this client’s website, staged at:
https://flamingo.orangecat.net
there is unwanted whitespace at the top of several columns on several pages. See the right column on page 2:
https://flamingo.otest.org/page-two/

But only in WordPress. If I upload the page as a standalone html page: https://flamingo.otest.org/two-test.html
the right column is at the top where it belongs.

I’ve tried inline styling the image, table cell, etc. to kill the extra whitespace but to no avail.

Does anybody see something I’m missing?
