unwanted redirection instead of login

    Hi,
    after the last update of UM (or at least since tuesday), I have a problem with my site The site is completely members-only, so only for logged-in users.

    The site sends out a daily newsletter (if there are new posts in a specific category) to all users. Clicking on the link normally leads to the new post, or if the user is not yet logged in, to the login page and then (for all roles) to this new post (as specified in the User Role options).

    For some reason this does not work any more: clicking on the link in the newsletter leads to the public page that would only show up for not-users trying to get acces. So an unwanted redirection instead of login.
    I tested if older newsletters did work, but it’s the same problem (earlier they worked all right), so I don’t think this has anything to do with the newsletterplugin (which wasn’t updated).
    Also when I use the URL of the blog directly in my browser, I’m redirected to the public page instead of to the login page.

    Can you please look into this?
