unwanted redirect after server migration…
-
I recently had to move from one host to another. On my old host I had a number of wordpress blogs–some running on my tld and others running on subdomains. When I moved them to the new server everything worked but one. I was convinced it was a DNS issue on my new host’s part but they assure me it is a wordpress issue. I’ve seen some discussion of redirect troubles but I’m not sure where to begin.
Specifically, my sites siddur.arielbenjamin.com and https://www.arielbenjamin.com both work just fine (and are both running 2.5.1 with separate sql dbs) but my site yard.arielbenjamin.com (also running 2.5.1 and with yet another separate sql db from the other two) automatically redirects to https://www.arielbenjamin.com. the structure on the old host was as follows:
TLD was stored in:
/user/domain/http/Subdomains were stored in:
/user/domain/subdomain/sub-name/http/On the new host the structure has changed to:
TLD:
/user/domain/www/Subs:
/user/domain/www/sub-name/Like I said, no problem with siddur.arielbenjamin.com acting as it did on the old host, but yard.arielbenjamin.com just redirects. I’m feeling desperate for some help. I hope someone can figure this out and help me get some sleep. Thanks in advance!
