I recently changed the URLs (slugs) of several pages. Now when you enter the OLD URL (slug) you are redirected to NEW URL (slug).

Since the OLD URLs (slugs) don’t exist I expect to get a 404 page but instead they redirect to the NEW URLs (slugs.)

There are NO 301 redirects in htaccess file. I deleted all local and cloudflare caches. But the old url slugs still redirect.

What is going on? Is this something new with WordPress? How do I stop it?

    Thank you.
