Unwanted P and BR tags added on the shortcodes

  • I am using WYSIWYG field type and adding some shortcodes to it. And when I echo the field values on frontend, it prints with empty P tag and BR tags added to it.

    This is not happening with specific shortcode or plugin, I infact built a simple shortcode to print “Hello World!” and added it to the WYISWYG field. It also printed with additional P and BR tags.

    How do I fix this?
