Starting from version 4.9.2, FileBird includes a file called YC.php, which is loaded automatically. That file has no relationship with any of the plugin’s features. It only adds a misleading “Email Customizer” link under WooCommerce, which prompts the installation of an Email Customizer plugin by YayMail.

Sneaking promotions in the code is bad practice in a WordPress plugin, and I’m not sure it’s even allowed by the guidelines. I disabled the code on all my sites, but I would strongly recommend to remove it from FileBird altogether.

    Hi @daigo75 ,

    Thanks for coming today!

Sorry about that, but please note that the banner is for recommending another plugin that we thought might be useful to WooCommerce users!

It is allowed according to guidelines, but of course we had it there and it is proven that some users found it very useful while on the other hand, some will not find it useful.

You can also manually disregard it.

    Kind regards,
    -Bruce-

Same shoes but that didn’t bother me in the least. I was about to just close the notice but curious enough to check out what it’s all about. Turns out, it fits me well. As provided on an as needed basis, the suggestion is appreciated!
I was not a fan of Drag and drop until I grab your plugins ??

Having modifications of the woocommerce admin email settings to insert some buttons with propaganda there too is not acceptable…
That you show me ads banner, it is fine (on plugin update), but do not add your butons in other 3rd party admin area… that is just plain rude.

    Hello @hcooh

Thanks for using FileBird and sorry to hear it. I’m understanding what you’re feeling. But the button ad was removed a week ago. If you still see it, please try to update FileBird to the latest version. Sorry again.

Can you please help change your rating? Thank you.

    Best regards,
    Tommy
