Unwanted Links in Widget Titles

    I was handed a site that is up and running. They have custom widgets that are now inserting an unwanted link into the widget titles. These links were not there previously and just “appeared.” I cannot discern where the links are coming from – what is inserting them. There is no widget title links plug-in installed and I cannot find anywhere to add or remove a link from the widget title, but the links are inserted into the html by something… can anyone help me identify where these links are coming from?

    when using text widgets, make sure to have all html link tags closed properly.

    The “10th Birthday Drive” and “Click Below to Give” widget titles in the right sidebar should have no active links, but they both do. It is inserted into the code, but I can’t figure out from where.

    Fixed it… it was an unclosed link in the previous sidebar widget… thank you @alchymyth
