Unwanted Duplicate Portfolios

Dear Illustratr Automattic Team,

For some reason the home page of my portfolio site is duplicating the portfolio entries.

Here is the [portfolio] shortcode in the home page:

[portfolio display_types=false display_tags=false display_content=false columns=3 showposts=6 orderby=date]

Can anyone think of why this duplication is happening?
