Hi, I am using TP for a website I built with Elementor Pro. My issue is that some single words that are found on different pages of the website are automatically translated by the plugin, once I translate one of them. This is a problem, because a single word in English may have many different translations in Italian. For example, the phrase “Be inspired by” in Italian can change in many ways, as that by can be da, or dalla, dai, dalle, dal… depending on what the following word is. So if I translate by with da, the plugin uses the same translation automatically everywhere but this is no good. I need to be able to translate the words manually, page by page. I tried disabling the “Disable dynamic translation” but it doesn’t work. This is a big problem… how can I solve it? Thanks.

  • Greetings,

    Thank you for reaching us.

There is a specific article in our documentation for what you are trying to achieve.
    https://translatepress.com/docs/translation-editor/#translation-blocks
Just scroll down to How to Translate words in different contexts.

For translating your string in a specific context you could add your string to a <span> tag. Ex:<span class=”translation-block”><span>string</span></span>

Let me know how this goes or if you have any other questions.

    Regards.
