• To the best of my knowledge, I have removed every bit of adcode from my homepage. Nothing in the header, nothing in the body, nothing in the sidebars. But for some reason, I’m still getting ads placed in the body and sidebar. It looks like they’re being injected by some kind of javascript, but I don’t know from where.

I thought it might be theme/plugin related, but I have also switched to the default wordpress theme and turned off EVERY plugin, yet there were still ads.

Is it possible WordPress is placing these ads? A long while back I had opted in to their adserving option through jetpack, but turned it off not long after that.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I see an ad from google in your sidebar, something’s putting them there. Disable all plugins. If the ads remain, then its your theme.

I have already disabled all plugins AND changed the theme. Ads were still present.

WordPress itself does not create ads. Do you have anything in your widgets — maybe one where you pasted in ad code?

This was through Jetpack. My mistake if I have incorrectly associated the two, as I thought Jetpack came pre-installed with the WordPress software.

Do you know anything about a service called https://www.ezoic.com/what-is-ezoic/?

Looks to me like they might have a hand in the ad codes I see on your website.

    I could be wrong.
