• Hi there

I have a page I’m creating at dev.aragonhomes.co.uk which if you have a look at it, has an image at the top of the vertical header. The site menu is positioned with CSS to make sure it appears in the white block in the menu bar. Under the bottom of the image is simply the header background color.

You’ll see that the header goes on forever off the bottom of the page (I guess this is the correct behavior) so I have had to delete the footer. With the footer in place, the header background goes all the way down past the footer and continues on – looks awful.

Is the plugin able to change this behavior from the header?

    Any advice appreciated.

  • Hi, thanks for trying my plugin. ??

To be honest, this is more of a design issue than something related to my plugin (you’ll probably have the same issue when my plugin is disabled).

I would recommend you look into something related to sticky footers. Using that, you’ll see that the footer will always be at the bottom of the page (or lower), but never in the middle, and so your header background will never go past your footer.

Check out this post for a few examples: https://css-tricks.com/couple-takes-sticky-footer/

    Hope this helps!
