• Hi,
from time to time, no mail is sent after the form has been filled.
In these cases the ip address of the sender is unusual, such as “2003:6a:6351:1e01:4197:720c:a5ac:6a9e”
    Can anyone tell me,
    – what kind of ip address this is
    – if this is the reason for not sending the notification mail?
    Thank you
    Klaus

  • Hi Klaus you might like to read this URL even though your question is more about that code above.

I am not sure what IP address that represents if it represents an IP address altogether.

    Thank you.

That information does not really help: in 98 % of all cases I do get the notification and everything is fine.

The last two cases I did not get the notification, there was a an unusual string in the “ip address” field and I am wondering why there is no common ip address and if this is the reason for my problem.

Hi Klaus, I have asked @mike Challis to have a read at your question.

    Regards
