Unused Tag Pages 404

  • Hi if we remove the unused tag page say this page – https://candytech.in/tag/moto-g5s-plus-and-moto-g5s/ it does not have any posts attached to it currently but if we delete this page then there is going to be a 404 – is it safe to delete empty tag pages which dont have any posts.
    We have no indexed tags couple of months back and google only shows 7 tags in index from our site candytech.in
