Unused CSS www-player-sprite-mode google pagespeed

no idea where www-player-sprite-mode*.css is from baksteen, only thing I know it’s no in wp-youtube-lyte’s files ??

that’s because by default LYTE is not active on mobile (to avoid users having to click twice). you can disable that behavior (forcing LYTE on mobile) with a code snippet;

add_filter(‘lyte_do_mobile’,’__return_true’);

or by activating local thumbnail caching (as in that case the plugin assumes you want to limit the amount of requests being sent to YT ?? )

I tried your solution.
And I also tried the solution I found in the read me (sorry that I didn’t read the read me before :))

But it doesn't seem to have the desired effect.
The www-player-sprite-mode*.css is still there.
(But the code is activated, because if I visit the site on mobile I indeed have to click twice on the youtube play button)

Ok, sorry you are correct. Maybe page speed tested a cached version of the site when I ran the test (several times).
