Hello, im getting bad PageSpeed Scores because of unused CSS. CSS file called fb879.css?d32fa is causing the problems, that is found under litespeed/cssjs/ folder. I checked the file and there’s actually VERY much (over 9000 thousand) lines of unused CSS. After i deleted those my PageSpeed Scores raised to the skies. My happiness dropped pretty fast though, after finding out that the unused CSS code just reappears after deleting and makes the scores bad again. Is there a settings that i could use to prevent them coming back? Should i just get rid of the whole file? I’ve had problem’s with high “Cumulative Layout Shift” times & “Largest Contentful Paints” and after deleting that Unused CSS, those disappeared too. Im pretty lost, i used this plugin to raise my scores and it worked very well, but now i dont know what to do.

    Hi,

No , LSCWP just combines/minifies all your CSS file into one or few CSS files

whatever the unused code , was originally from your site as LSCWP won’t do any strip to it, though we have a feature called unique css under development to address that issue.

    Best regards,
    Ruikai.

Is there a way to manually strip the unused CSS?

    Hi,

Technically , yes , but I don’t think that really doable manually

    https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/css/reference#coverage

you will need to modify each origin file it mentions , and you can not further upgrade these plugins/themes because if you do , you will have to manually strip it again.

    Best regards,

Can you add a feature to remove/strip unused css/js such as features like wprocket Remove jQuery Migrate option too.
