Untranslatable date in ticket email

The translation for month names may be missing from the language files; hence in the email name of the month is not translated and instead appears as is. You will need to manually add missing translations for required strings, following the instructions in the article below.

You can use a third-party plugin like LocoTranslate to do this,

I`m already using third party translations plugin WPML, but the month string is not translatable. There is problem in your code. 1. WordPress
2. WPML
3. Event Tickets Plugin

WPML should suffice for the translation and should be compatible with our plugins. There might be something unexpected here I’d like to replicate it first and check.

I was able to translate everything except the month strings in email. I did go through troubleshooting, replicated the issue on a clean server with WPML support.

Override this template
views/tickets/email.php
in your own theme by creating a file at
[your-child-theme]/tribe-events/tickets/email.php.

@abzlevelup I`m sorry, but what exactly am I supposed to do with the template override? What do I need to change in the code, to make it translatable?

Hi @lpsdlv, appreciate your patience. It seems like this could be more complex to do as we do not have a workaround for this. However, we could refer a documentation that would be useful for customization. Although we do not fully support customization as per our Support Policy, I’d like to at least point you in the right direction or the right approach to what you are trying to accomplish here.

The email template is using the $event_date variable which is set using tribe_events_event_schedule_details, which could be use for this customization and has some filter.
