Untested with Genesis Executive Pro

  • I am surprised to see that your product is untested with Genesis Executive Pro. Consequently, I won’t use it until it is compatible. Or, am I missing something? Has it been a year since you updated it? One reason I use Genesis is for its framework and reliable products. I would expect your plug-ins to keep up with updates.

    @katrinastarkweather I’m able to use Genesis Tabs with Executive Pro and WordPress 4.7+ in my tests.

    If you encounter a specific issue with Genesis Tabs and Executive Pro that leads you to believe the two are incompatible, please feel free to report it here – I’d be happy to take a look.

    Thanks for the news that you are using Genesis Tabs and Executive Pro without any issues. That’s a relief, but I still will avoid using it.

    I have run into “issues” with plug-ins behaving badly and creating the dreaded white screen with some horrible message about something having gone awry. In a move to avoid those dreaded moments, and provide better uptime for my clients, I’m choosing to use plug-ins and themes that are updated and loved on regularly. The fine folks at Studio Press actually made that very suggestion to me – that I use their plug-ins and that I use ones that are current – so, of course, I am *surprised* that this plug-in hasn’t been updated for over a year. :O

    I would love to see them pull it from their backlog and give it some attention, but in the meantime, I’m covered. Thanks again for the feedback. ??
