Thank you for creating and maintaining this great plugin!

I’m a little unsure which regeneration interval to choose and how many caches to regenerate at maximum per interval. If I use the default 10 caches per interval, I suppose the server load will be minimal even if it runs once every 4 hours? What I’m trying to get at is essentially this. How often and for how many caches at maximum per interval would it potentially be a problem running the cache regeneration?

If the cache regeneration runs and there are no caches to regenerate the server load is minimal? I’m wondering because the default value for the interval is twice daily and I’d probably want to lower it significantly.

    Hi @telsenome

Thank you for using our plugin!

Answering your questions isn’t that easy. The interval for regenerating caches and the maximum number of caches to regenerate per interval strongly depends on you servers capacity, so there really isn’t an answer I can give you. There are servers (bad ones) that run into problems with 10 caches per interval, but there are also servers that can easily do 1000 caches per interval.’

If there are no caches to regenerate the server load should be very low. It will retrieve your settings and do one query on the database, that is it.

Thank you. Our server is quite robust so I think it will handle the current regeneration settings without problems then!
