• So I’m starting with the twenty twenty three theme. I’ve created a child theme so as not to have my changes disappear. Within the child theme I’ve created two templates inside of that child theme.. I created a page and assigned the Bobs template one to the page.

I know I can use the style.css in the new child theme but some of the blocks like “Main” have style=”xxxxx” in them so that can’t be overridden with the style.css.

This new theme however is just the same as the page theme. It has the same spacings and margins. I want to override them and I created a new theme so that I could customize it however I’m unable to find (continued below)

    My themes.

do things like remove the style from the main block. I don’t need or want a top margin of 50.. which is set in the page.html template.

So it appears although I “created” my own theme I can’t do anything with it….there is no HTML file to edit you can see that below… very confused.
