unsuccessful upgrade

    I upgraded to WP 2.5, and my blog page will load, but at the top of the page is the following message:

    Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 1237 in /home/welkersw/public_html/blog/wp-includes/deprecated.php on line 1237

    When I go to the wp-admin login page I get the following message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /home/welkersw/public_html/blog/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 1007

    I can see the posts on the main page, but cannot open up any individual posts, when I try I get an error 404 Not Found message.

    Any advice?
