    Hello, I have a user that is wanting to unsubscribe, but I cannot find their email address anywhere. It’s not found when I search for them in the Subscribers area, I don’t see their address in the CSV that I downloaded of all subscribers, and I don’t find the address anywhere in the WordPress database. They are indeed getting email notifications of new posts, and they are not using any other email addresses to forward to the email address in question. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Are you running any other subscription plugins like FeedBurner or JetPack?

    They are using JetPack, but not for subscriptions. No to FeedBurner.

    @andrew,

    Can you access the email header for this recipient? That might help to track down where it’s coming from.

    I’m waiting to hear back from the recipient on if they can provide the header to me. It may be another day or two. Once I have it, what’s the best, most secure way to get this to you? Thanks for your help!

    I am having this problem as well – we have one person who would like to be unsubscribed, but when we enter their email address to unsubscribe it, it says it’s not in the database. What should we do?

    Have you searched for a part of the email address? Have you looked in both the Public Subscribers and the Registered Subscribers tab?

    If it still is not found then asked the subscriber if they are using email forwarding to the email they have given you from another email address.
