    Dear All,

I’ve changed my admin language in WordPress to English so that the MailPoet Plugin works in English. Also I’ve created a new welcome e-mail with links for Unsubscribe / Manage Subscriptions, just to make sure that the language settings are updated in the MailPoet emails as well.

However, the emails I send or rather the links to Unsubscribe / Manage Subscriptions in it lead still to German sites. How can I change that?

    Please advise.

    Thank you!

    Monika

    Hi there @airlovers,

For the sites that you are linking to and loading the Unsubscribe / Manage Subscriptions pages, do you have a user account on those sites? Is your user profile set to display in German (i.e. if you view the wp-admin dashboard with your user, does it display in German instead of the site language)?

If you change your profile language and then refresh the pages, does the language change?

Please let me know about those points, or if you have any questions. Thank you!

    Hi there @kellymetal!

Thank you very much for your answer! I have changed my language to English, however that didn’t help.

I decided to create individual / customized pages and use those instead of the pre-configured MailPoet pages.

Interestingly, the short codes did display in English when I used them in the customized pages.

But when I afterwards changed back to the MailPoet page they were again in German.

    Not sure why.

    Thank you!

    Hi again @airlovers ????,

So to confirm that I am understanding this issue well:

    – Your user profile is in English
    – And your site language is set to English too.

But the MailPoet messages are appearing in German language (when using the default pages)?

If that’s what is happening I think that it could be a caching issue. Can you verify if you have caching plugins on your site?

    Thanks!

    Hi there @airlovers,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
