Unsubscribe-Link still not working correctly

  • As unsubscribe-Link did not show up until the last Update, it now appears in the Mails sent to subsribers.

    However: Once the link is clicked, it redirects to frontpage of the Blog ( even so unsubscribe page has been set in settings ) and worse, the subscriber does not get unsubscribed.

    Could you please help to get this solved?

    Thanks for reaching out to us. After receiving your concern I have proceeded with some tests and it seems like the unsubscribe-link is working fine. I have made a video of one of the tests, which you can check from here.

    Am I missing something or is there any procedure that I can follow in order to reproduce it?

    Dear Mazharul,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I retested with the latest Blogpost, however: The link redirects to the page that is set for unsubscribing, but the e-mail-adress is not deactivated, thus I recieved the information on the following blogpost although I already unsubscribed via the unsubscribe Link.

    Could you please doublecheck this?

    Did you see my reply from one week ago? It would be great to get some Feedback on that one, as unsubscribe-Link is still not working as expected, which is a huge issue due to GDPR in Germany.

    Hello @msteidl,

    In the scenario you were referring to, is there any possibility that only those emails are not being unlisted/deactivated, those belong to the registered users? Like editors emails, admins emails?

    Dear Mazharul,

    that is correct. I was using my Admin E-Mail to test this. However, shouldn’t I been deleted from the list of subscribers anyhow?
