Unsubscribe link not working in Follow Up emails plugin

Hello,

I am using Woocommerce Follow Up emails plugin in my site. I am sending Subscription emails after the cancellation of the subscription to get the customer’s interest back to our site. I have set multiple of these emails with different intervals from the cancellation date for ex, One email will be sent after 5 days. Another mail will be sent after 10 days. Another will be triggered after 20 days and so on. This is working fine but the issue I am facing is with the Unsubscribe link. I am setting an Unsubscribe link in my mail content so the users can unsubcribe from the emails. So my system should work somewhat like below:

A mail is sent after 5 days of cancellation of subscription. If the user clicks on the unsubscribe link in the mail no further mails should be sent.

But below is the current scenarion of my system:

A mail is sent after 5 days of cancellation of subscription. The user clicks on the Unsubscribe link.The user email ID is entered in the Opt-outs section too. But the user still continues receiving mails as usual i.e., after 10 days, 20 days and so on.

Can anyone please help me solve my issue?
