  • Yes, that works for me. Do you have the code added to the functions.php file of your theme (ideally, child theme, so the change doesn’t get overwritten when you update your theme)?

    Hi Hastibe,

Yes, I have it in the child theme functions.php, but when I refresh the jobs page its still pinning the featured post to the top.

I have other functions working from the same file, so I know the file is fine.

    Any other suggestions?

    Many thanks

Hmm! Could it be caching? Or your theme (what theme are you using)?

…Also, I take it that the featured jobs are not the most recent jobs posted (otherwise, they still will appear at the top, of course), right?

Any modifiers in your [jobs] shortcode? (E.g. [jobs show_pagination="true"] — not that it should cause any problems with this snippet, which I know of, but if do have any, you might double-check by making a temporary page with just the [jobs] shortcode to see.

I’m marking this as resolved since it’s been over 2 weeks with no response. If you still need help with this, please feel free to mark it ‘not resolved’ again.
