    Hi,
I am doing a bulk edit for weight, length, width & height parameters of my products. Each product is set up with 12 or so variations.

When I search for a specific variation, both the main product listing (type = variable product) and the specific variation (type = variation) come up in the search results. I want to add a value to just the variation, not the main product. Is there a way to do this without manually unclicking every single main product listing.

    Thanks!
    Jenny

    Hi Jenny,

You can’t display just the variations themselves, however you can use Sorting in combination with the “select range” feature to accomplish what you want.

First, click on the “Type” column and then click “Sort Ascending”. This will move all of the Variable Products to the top.

Next, click the checkbox on the first Variable Product to uncheck it. Hold down the shift key and then click the last Variable Product to uncheck it and all of the boxes in between.

Now you are able to perform bulk operations on just the selected items (the Variations).

Let me know if you have any questions!
