Hello, I mistakenly toggled a few post in the incorrect category (restricted access category) and when I removed them to a different unrestricted category, it still shows from the front end, restricted access.

It seems that by de-activating and then re-activating the plugin seemed to have correct the restriction status.

Actually, I take that back. It appears if I’m logged in as an administrator I can still see it. However, users from the front end still show restricted..

Hi, reading all the post above is a bit confusing. Can you share with me if your issue is resolved or not? If it isn’t can you let me know exactly what the problem is.

    Thank you

OK, so my issue is not resolved. But, I have a work around (deleted and republished the content without restricting access)

My website is set up so that a specific category of posts are restricted. Users will pay for access to this ‘category’

Problem: I mistakenly added a few posts to this ‘restricted’ category. However, simply removing them from the category did not Un-Restrict them. Does this make sense? I tried deleting the plugin, re-activating it, viewing website through a proxy to avoid potential caching issues… Nothing worked. So, I ended up deleting the posts completely and re-publishing them under the correct category.

Okay that makes sense now, thank you for explaining your issue. To me that sounds like a cache issue or maybe a conflict somewhere. I have carried out a test before regarding category protection and it worked in my test.

When you removed the post or page from the protected category did you also clear the browser cache? Did you delete any cache if you have a cache plugin? Do you use CDN? If you did and it did not work for you then I suspect a plugin conflict or a theme conflict.

Can you carry out the following Test for Plugin and Theme Conflict Before Posting an Issue or a Bug.

    Thank you
