Ahh yes your explanation makes sense. I didn’t realize it was a user creation form! This is expected then.
I tried a test registration (Craig RoundupTest) to see what happens. It looks like everything is processed correctly and I do, in fact, get a confirmation email.
I wonder if the inconsistency can be solved with an SMTP service. It’s unfortunately very common that emails do not arrive if not using such a service. We have directions for how you can set this up:

As for the unregister link not working, I’m seeing there is a flaw with the plugin in that if there is no registration form on the single event page, the link will not process. Can you contact me on our website so I can send you an update to potentially address this? Here is a link:
