Unreachable error while fetching and crawling.

    I’ve set “Verified Google crawlers have unlimited access to this site” on (Wordfence > Firewall > Firewall Options > Rate Limiting).Inspite of this setting when i try to fetch and crawl ,search console shows me unreachable error.But when i deactivate wordfence then crawl,search console shows me success status.Main problem is that i can’t keep deactivate wordfence all the time and bot tries to access link as i’ve submitted sitemap .Please help

  • Hi @tahmina1,

    It seems the Google Crawler might be getting blocked for another reason.

    Can you look at Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic, and see exactly why it was blocked?

    Hi @wfdave
    Thank you so much..I looked at Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic and found that 2 years ago,wordfence blocked google bot’s IP addresses .I’ve unblocked that range of IP addresses and now everything is working fine.
