Unpublished WP Pages?

    Our WP Pages section shows (All 38, Published 34)
    I’ve selected “Published 34” and counted and there are 34 pages showing, then I select “All 38” and count and I only count the exact same 34 pages? Where are these other pages. The problem is that everytime we try to do backups, we get errors saying the pages cannot be found and our servers eventually timeout, and I cannot find them to see what the pages even are or delete them. Can I access and delete pages somewhere other than the backend of WP? Any ideas why it would be showing this?

    Found the issues. We had to look into the database and find all entries with posty_type = page then check all those posts against what was showing in the frontend and then manually delete the unpublished pages. hoe this helps anyone else who has run into this issue.

    BTW, the problem came from a classifieds plugin which did not remove all of its data when we uninstalled it originally. Sloppy plugins will do that.
