Hello! I set up WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin and every time I go on a checkout and put the credit card details correct, I happen to have an error:

Failed to process the payment. Please try again or contact the shop admin. [UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY] The requested action could not be performed, semantically incorrect, or failed business validation. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-COMPLIANCE_VIOLATION

It seems that the payment is sent because I receive a text message from the bank but it says “Fail”. How do I resolve the problem? I have seen all other related topics but can’t solve my problem. Either outdated old or no response back.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

This is not a very common issue, but we have encountered it before. The previous case we encountered with this error was caused by an issue with the PayPal account, so we would advise you to start by engaging PayPal Merchant Technical Support and have them review your account. The merchant that encountered this issue informed us: “It turned out that the problem was from PayPal itself. It was not activated. Receiving payments was activated, and now the problem is solved.”

Please ask MTS to check your account for a similar cause. If that does not help you resolve this issue, please let us know and we will take another look.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

Hello, I asked them and they didn’t say anything specifically to the error but I said them that I was getting this error and the way I could solve was to add a visa card to auto withdraw and they said “yes you could add a visa card to auto withdraw”. Now I don’t really know what is happening but I really wanna solve this issue.

    Hello @thecowmilk

This is a setting on your PayPal account, not the plugin. For this reason, I would advise you to ask PayPal Merchant Technical Support for instruction on how you can activate this function on your account.

This is not something that can be done via the plugin, so MTS should be able to advise you better on this matter.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
