I’m using tis plugin in sandbox, and when I try to pay I get this error:
[UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY] The requested action could not be performed, semantically incorrect, or failed business validation. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-PAYEE_ACCOUNT_INVALID

I’m not using decimals. I’m using a currency switcher plugin but I uninstalled it and the problem persist. I’m paying in US Dollar.

I’m using a sandbox account created in my own developer account (Not using my client credentials)

I tryed everything I read and still failing

    Hello @vickkmartinez

thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
This error clearly points to the merchant account and since you are using a sandbox account, there must be an issue with the way you connect the account or with the settings in the plugin.
    Please do the following:
    – Make sure you used the wizard to connect the account (manual configuration could cause issues). Once you have connected it, please check that all 4 fields of the Sandbox API Credentials have been filled (Email address, Merchant Id, Client Id & Secret Key).
    – Create another sandbox account, be sure you create a US account (both business and customer account) and see if those might work.

This issue with live accounts is usually fixed by contacting PayPal, but this is a sandbox account, so it should not be that difficult to get past it.

Please let me know if any of these options help you.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

Hello. Thanks for the reply. The problem is when I try to connect automatically with my credentials it says that my password or email are incorrect (and they aren’t). That’s why I connected manually. I don’t know if I’m missing something

    Hello @vickkmartinez

can you get in contact with PayPal on that issue? Maybe it’s an idea to ask them to change the password (if it does not work for you to do that yourself on the website)? It might actually lead to the cause and solution of this entire issue…

Let me know how that goes.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
