Unordered Lists not showing in excerpt

  • I have the same problem. A list will display in the content section, but not in the excerpt. Also, if I inspect the excerpt element post server, the list html tags are there, it’s just not displayed as a list. Occurred in both Chrome and Firefox with WP 3.6.1

    I’m not sure whether this is a display issue, a wordpress configuration issue or an issue with the plugin. Can you please be more specific about the nature of the problem?

    I’m closing this support thread as I believe this is a theme related issue (rather than an issue with the plugin). If a theme template calls the_excerpt() in the loop, the custom excerpt will be shown. If a theme calls wp_trim_excerpt() instead, it will automatically generate an excerpt from post content (stripped of all formatting). If you are using teasers the excerpt field is not used at all.
