    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    My guess is that the problem lies in the fact you added an g:item_group_id mapping to your feed twice. See this screenshot:

    You need to remove the second one (mapped to: sku_item_group_id). Because of this configuration mistake the variantions of your variable products cannot be matched to the audience created by the Facebook pixel and thus result in the unmatched products notification.

    Once you removed the second field mapping for your g:item_group_id you need to refresh the product feed and let Facebook reprocess your updated feed. Bear in mind that it could take some time for the notification to disappear.

    We have re-created the feed and after saving the mapping and filters, we received this error “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    We have tried to replicate the issue at hand by adding the exact same filters as you did and all works fine for us. Are you sure the technical difficulties warning is caused by our plugin? Have you re-tried creating the filters and rules and are you getting an error again?

    Also, I noticed you still have two field mappings in place for your g:item_group_id field. Could you remove one?

    We cannot remove the other item_group_id, I cannot click the checkbox to delete it. The field was already there when I created a new feed.

    One item_group_id is there by default yes, the other one is added by you I pressume? Can’t you delete that one too?

    We also didn’t receive any email for instructions

    That notification is a WordPress notification, not coming from our plugin.

    Have you checked your WordPress debug.log or apache error log? It might give an indication as to why you are getting that error.
